About this event

We have a treasure to share and the freedom to shine.

We have a treasure to share and the freedom to shine.

In Matthew 5, the Christian is described as a beacon of light in a dark and desolate world. A light to be seen by others, reflecting our savior and God's glory. Every day, we have the privilege to proclaim and display Christ among our interactions at home and at work. It is a treasure to share the light of Christ, and we have the freedom to bring this Good News to a world seeking salvation in darkness.

This Fall, as our nation exercises the freedom to vote, it's important to remember how we can use our religious freedoms to bring Christ to our world. Ali Master will be our special guest for our upcoming LIVE Institute session on November 6 to highlight how we can use our freedoms to share the light of Christ wherever God has placed us. As a former Muslim, Ali's unique perspective and incredible story will empower you and inspire you to use your freedoms to be a light in the marketplace!

This online event is free, but registration is required. For more information, contact us at 972.717.9857 or info@mbbconference.org

Institute Featured Presenter: Ali Master

Ali Master’s perspective on the American Dream is unique. He has personally experienced the freedoms he touts in this book, Beyond the Golden Door: Seeing the American Dream Through an Immigrant’s Eyes. Because he is a former Muslim, privileges, such as the freedom of religion, came at a great personal risk. Ali is a successful managing partner with the firm of Ernst & Young (EY) and has built and led multiple large businesses. He is a licensed CPA and holds an undergraduate degree in accounting. He is also a graduate of leadership programs from both Kellogg School of Management and Harvard University.

Ali has served as a member of EY’s Diversity & Inclusiveness Council and is a frequent speaker on a range of topics from business, to inclusion, to leadership, to Islam. His bi-cultural background uniquely qualifies him to contrast American freedoms and values to those found in Muslim countries. He lives in Texas with his wife and four children and travels frequently across the U.S. and internationally.
